Before Purchase Note:

1. Please make sure your USB C female end devices like laptop / smartphone must support DP ALT Mode (display output over Type-C port) or Thunderbolt 3. Otherwise it is not compatible. If you not sure the compatibility of your devices please ask us before purchase.

2. If you plan to use this adapter for Oculus Rift S, please make sure your PC is Oculus ready. Here is the minimum tech performance require:

-Graphics card: NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti/ AMD Radeon RX 470 or greater.

-Video Output: DisplayPort 1.2.

- Alternative Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 960/AMD Radeon R9 290 or greater.

-CPU: Inter i3-6100/AMD Ryzen 3 1200, FX4350 or greater.

-Memory: 8GB+RAM.

3. Only can work with DisplayPort Monitor. Make sure the DisplayPort cable is functional before use and do not move your devices and cable during use.

4. Please make sure the screen of the HOST devices keep awake during use. This cable will not capable to awake your devices from sleep mode. If you went to sleep mode, please unplugged this adapter and awake your devices, then re-plug it to use.

5. We recommend you to make sure your monitor/tv could supply corresponding output. If the resolution of your laptop is higher than the external monitor, please go to Windows Menu--> Setting--> Display--> Advanced Display Settings, set your laptop's resolution same as or lower the resolution of external monitor.

6. Supports resolution up to 4K@60Hz, but we recommend you to make sure your monitor/tv could supply corresponding output. That means if your computer supports 4K@60Hz, while your monitor/TV only supports1080P, you can only output 1080P rather than 4K.

7. How to set up Mirror and Extend Mode:

1): For MacOS, Top left corner Apple icon-->System Preferences-->Displays-->Mirror or Extend Displays;

2): For Windows 10, press Windows key + P combination command-->choose Duplicate or Extend.

8. If your USB-C laptop is compatible with the usbc dp adapter but it does not work, you can go to the official website of your laptop, update the BIOS and graphics driver, restart the laptop and try again.
